Mustang Update

While I'm typing I might as well post a bit about the car.

Last fall I entered the International Mustang Meet #33 which was held in Winnipeg

this year. It was a lot of fun and I also won 2nd in my class for 1967-68 fastbacks, modified.

Just before the show I managed to get my tilt-swing steering wheel working, it was a big hit with the guys. I have since taken the column out to be restored while the sand around here is being cleaned up from winter.  I should have it back together soon.

The other big news is that the car showed up in the Dec. 2012 "Readers Album" section of Mustang Monthly magazine. I had sent a photo about a year before and had completely forgotten about it until I was at Walmart looking through magazines when I spotted it!  It was a great surprise!

Planning a trip

We've decided we're going to head to the UK and Paris, France this summer. We will be taking the girls with us and it should be a lot of fun.

We hope to see the sights and to visit with some family. 

We are just finalizing dates and should have everything booked in the next day or two. 

Sharon and I have been to England a few times but never France and the girls have never been overseas. I'm sure they'll enjoy the long flight!
